The United Cybersecurity Alliance presented Diane M. Janosek with the 2021 Woman Cybersecurity Leader of the Year on 3 August 2021. This award recognizes successful leaders in the international cybersecurity community who have developed major cybersecurity initiatives.
Ms. Janosek was selected for increasing diversity and inclusion in the cybersecurity talent pipeline through cybersecurity educational programming, publications, mentoring and public outreach and engagement.
Currently, Ms. Janosek serves as the Commandant of National Security Agency's school house, the National Cryptologic School. As the Lead Training director for NSA's workforce and its affiliates, the National Cryptologic School delivers on-demand educational content 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through four colleges, including the college of Cyber and the College of Cryptology. Ms. Janosek also serves on the Board of Advisors for the Military Cyber Professionals Association, the White House Federal Committee on STEM Education, and as a Senior Advisor for Women in Cybersecurity where she has dedicated thousands of hours influencing national cybersecurity efforts and policies, championing diversity, equity and inclusion in the field of cybersecurity, developing a robust pipeline of "future cyber first responders" and mentoring emerging female leaders in the cybersecurity critical infrastructure field.
The National Cryptologic School is the home of the public education programs and initiatives to include CAE and GenCyber.
