The CAE Competency Workshop at UCCS provides an introduction to the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) approach to competency.

Gain an understanding of how to write competency statements
Experiment with applying competency statements to current teaching
Learn how to use work roles and tasks from the DCWF and NICE frameworks to design new learning opportunities
By the end of the session, you will understand the CAE approach to competency, how this relates to re-designation, and how this will benefit your students
The closing date for applications is October 14th. Applicants will be informed by October 18th whether they have been accepted to the workshop. Priority will be given based on the applicant’s geographical region and their re-designation year.
