This year, the annual CAE in Cybersecurity Community Symposium will take place on June 9 and 10, 2022, immediately following the NICE Conference & Expo in Atlanta, GA (in-person!). The Symposium event is designed to provide CAE members and applicants the opportunity to network, receive community updates, and present their projects to the community. We are seeking proposals from the CAE in Cybersecurity Community (Cyber Defense) to facilitate fast pitch, workshops, and presentations. Posters from CAE-CD Community members and students are also encouraged. Posters will be unattended and viewable by Symposium attendees and displayed online.
Following are the guidelines for proposed topics for fast pitch sessions, workshops, presentations, and posters. Please keep in mind that we have a limited number of sessions. The Planning Committee will select proposal submissions based on availability. Submit your proposal by 04/04/2022 to be considered.
Fast Pitch Sessions
Time slots: 10 minutes per session
Fast pitch sessions are presented in front of the CAE-CD conference body to inspire others. To keep the sessions flowing, there will be no audience Q&A after the fast pitch sessions.Topics should be of interest to the CAE in Cybersecurity Community. The CAE Community logo should be included on any presentation materials.

· K-12 pathways and articulation
· Alumni relations and involvements
· Faculty development

NOTE: If presentation materials will be used for the fast pitch, submissions accepted for presentation are required to provide presentation materials for publication to the CAE Community website by May 27, 2022, prior to the CAE in Cybersecurity Symposium.
Presentations/Mini Workshops
Time slots: 20 minutes per session
Presentation and mini workshop slots are available for Symposium participants. These should inform and engage the group, being of interest to the CAE in Cybersecurity Community. The session time slot is inclusive of any engagement or Q&A with the audience. The CAE Community logo should be included on any presentation materials.

NOTE: Submissions accepted for presentation are required to provide presentation materials for publication to the CAE Community website by May 27, 2022, prior to the CAE in Cybersecurity Symposium.
Project Posters
Unattended poster; 20 maximum
Poster spaces are available for Symposium participants. Posters should be informative and of interest to the CAE in Cybersecurity Community. The 20” x 30” posters will be located in view of Symposium participants to view between sessions throughout the duration of the Symposium and will be unattended (students cannot attend). Proposals are due by the date noted above and finished posters must be in ready to print format. All printed posters will be displayed on easels at the Symposium and on the CAE Community Website. Poster proposals may be submitted by CAE-CD faculty for their own project or on behalf of students.
Accepted submissions are required to provide an electronic file of the poster for printing to the CAE Community email inbox by May 27, 2022, one week prior to the CAE in Cybersecurity Symposium.

Additional guidance:
- Design the poster for professional printing
- Create a single slide in powerpoint to provide a .PPTX file for your submission
- Leave a space of 2”x2” in the bottom left and right corner for a QR code/CAE logo to be inserted later
- Poster printing and costs of printing will be covered by the CAE in Cybersecurity Community

Reminder:
Fast pitch sessions must be no more than 10 minutes. Presentations, mini-workshops, and panels must be no more than 15 minutes.
