FISSEA is aimed at assisting Federal agencies in strengthening their employee cybersecurity awareness and training programs. Quarterly FISSEA forums provide opportunities to exchange information on programs, efforts, and approaches for improving awareness and training programs throughout the Federal government.

FISSEA’s virtual Summer Forum (to be held August 23, 2023) is fast approaching and the planning committee is seeking topics and speakers. Submit your proposal at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/fisseacallforpresentations.

The FISSEA Call for Proposals is open year-round. Submissions may be sent at any time, but the priority deadline for those wishing to present at the FISSEA Summer Forum is July 10th, 2023.

Celebrating 36 Years of Working Together & Shaping the Future

Share your expertise and creative ideas focusing on awareness and training of information and cybersecurity. FISSEA is open to all presentation topics relating to cybersecurity awareness and education, and particularly interested in the following:

  • Artificial Intelligence: Implications and Applications for Security Awareness and Education
  • Awareness Program Metrics: How To Quantify Success

Presentations are 30 minutes in length. We are also seeking FISSEA Ignite! sessions, which can be pre-recorded video. FISSEA Ignite! is a 7–10 minute presentation where you discuss an idea you are passionate about – it is a creative, informative, and maybe opinionated session designed to create thoughtful discussions about key topics in cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
