Nominate yourself or others to become a member of the National CyberWatch Center Curriculum Standards Panel.
Submission Deadline: Thursday, June 22 at 11:59 p.m. EDT
The project is sponsored by the National Security Agency as a critical contribution to the Cybersecurity National Action Plan (CNAP) and towards fulfillment of Section 3(d) of the Presidential Executive Order on Strengthening the Cybersecurity of Federal Networks and Critical Infrastructure.
The project goal is to produce the nation's first competency-based, mastery learning curriculum design for an Information Security Fundamentals course. Learning objectives will be aligned with the NSA Centers of Academic Excellence Knowledge Units, National Cybersecurity Workforce Framework KSAs, and industry competency and capability maturity models. Panelists will be credited as authors of a curriculum standard to be made freely available through NSA's National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense program. Project Details are HERE.
If interested, please take this SURVEY.
The purpose of this survey is to gather information on your preferences, experiences and specialized expertise on topics relevant to instruction in fundamental, introductory cybersecurity courses. Your responses will be kept strictly confidential and used only to support panelist selection and administration of the standards process. The information you provide will be shared only with the National CyberWatch Center Leadership and Curriculum Committee to support decisions on invitations to participate as a member of the Curriculum Standards Panel.
Applications for participation on the National Curriculum Standards Panel will be evaluated as they are received until all open panel positions are filled. Please submit your interest and qualifications survey as soon as possible to be considered for selection.
All submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. EDT on June 22 to be considered for the panel.
