Educator Stipend to Attend NICE K12 Conference
Posted on 20 Sep 2021 12:58 PM

The 2021 NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference is excited to provide a limited number of conference registration stipends to eligible educators. Educators will be selected from completed applications based on criteria for a no-cost conference registration fee. We are particularly interested in helping educators who have no support for conference attendance from their school, district, or other sources. Stipends will cover the conference registration fee, which is valued at $125.00.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen currently teaching full-time in a secondary public, private, or charter school. Educators should have a passion for introducing cybersecurity topics into their classroom or teaching cybersecurity courses. Priority will be given to those who have not attended NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference previously. Award recipients will represent various demographics, geographic regions, and levels of instruction.

K12 educators seeking financial assistance will be required to complete an online application available online. Applications will be accepted until October 25, 2021 or until the financial assistance funds run out. Applicants selected to receive stipends will be notified on approximately October 26, 2021. Upon acceptance of the stipend, winners will receive a registration code for no-charge admission to the event. Some restrictions apply.

The 2021 NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference Educator Registration Stipend Award is made possible through the generous support of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and its Cybersecurity Education Training and Assistance Program (CETAP) grantee, CYBER.ORG.
