C5 seeks to expand the number of community colleges across the nation that have earned the Center for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance 2-Year Education (CAE2Y).This will be accomplished in part through a mentorship process in which personal support is provided by an experienced and qualified faculty member (who has already successfully completed the CAE application) to a mentee community college. Mentee community colleges are selected based on the commitment to and preparedness for the CAE application. Remuneration is provided to both. Follow the below link for additional information. The application is also attached for completion.
C5 is an NSF funded project to support the creation of a nationwide network of community colleges that have met national standards in cybersecurity education, producing more and better prepared graduates, and ultimately leading to a more secure nation.
