In its third installation, the “Alice in Cyberspace” Conference at Kean University held on January 12th aimed to enhance women’s interest in cybersecurity while increasing participation in a field where females have historically been under-represented.

The New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell, a division of the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, hosted the free, six-hour conference with more than 300 women in attendance.  The event was co-sponsored by the Kean Center for Cybersecurity and NSA CAE-CD Point-Of-Contact, Prof. Stan Mierzwa.  Students from the Kean Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) chapter helped to organize and coordinate the program.
