Administer the Cybersecurity Concept Inventory in Your Intro Class
The Cybersecurity Assessment Tools (CATS) Project is seeking instructors to administer our online draft educational Cybersecurity Concept Inventory (CCI) in their intro cybersecurity classes. We also seek experts to review the CCI. With support from NSF and approval from UMBC’s IRB, we are performing large-scale validation of the CCI (1,000 students), which assesses student conceptual understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, for the purpose of measuring the effectiveness of educational approaches. The CATS Project is joint work with UMBC and University of Illinois.
