June 6: CAE Mentor and Peer Review Workshop as part of the CAE Principals Meeting, Huntsville, AL

The University of West Florida is pleased to serve as the NSA/DHS National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) Regional Resource Center (CRRC) for the Southeast US. In this

​role, UWF provides support to all currently designated CAE institutions and institutions seeking CAE designation in the Southeast US, including AL, FL, GA, SC, TN and PR. 

Faculty from institutions designated as NSA-DHS National Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) are invited to participate in a workshop that will provide training for various roles to support the CAE application process, including Mentoring and Peer Review of candidates for CAE CDE/2Y/R designation.

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Registration deadline: May 22, 2017

If you are interested in attending but are not able to attend on this date, please note that additional workshops following this structure will be held regionally later in the year, with the next one in your region tentatively taking place on September 27-28, 2017, in Pensacola, FL.

Limited funds are available to support regional travel to the workshop. In order to receive a stipend you must register and be approved by the organizers. In order to be eligible for reimbursement or a travel stipend, attendees must participate in the workshop, not be receiving travel support from any other source, and complete a travel reimbursement/stipend form provided on site. If you are approved for a travel stipend, you will be notified.

This workshop and travel funds are being funded by the CAE Regional Resource Center (CRRC) at the University of West Florida, the CAE National Resource Center (CNRC) at Northern Virginia Community College and the Catalyzing Computing and the Cybersecurity in Community Colleges (C5) grant, funded by the National Science Foundation and based at Whatcom Community College.
