2018 CAE Regional Resource Center Southeast Cybersecurity Conference (SECC)

The 2018 CAE Southeast Cybersecurity Conference, hosted by the CAE Regional Resource Center (CRRC), will help build a vibrant, collaborative CAE Cybersecurity Community in the Southeast and enhance collaboration opportunities. The conference is geared toward faculty from all institutions across the US that are CAE designated or interested in applying for CAE designation. The conference will include sessions on CAE application, KU Mapping, peer reviewer and mentor training, professional development workshops on cybersecurity topics, as well as sessions for collaboration and networking.

The conference will be held July 26-27, 2018 in Orlando, FL at the Renaissance Seaworld Hotel. The conference is coordinated and funded by the NSA/DHS National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) Regional Resource Center (CRRC) at the University of West Florida.

As the CAE Regional Resource Center for the Southeast US, UWF in collaboration with the NSA CAE Program office, aims to advance cyber defense education among colleges and universities in the Southeast and support all institutions that are CAE designated or interested in applying for CAE designation.

Limited funding will be available for eligible faculty from CAE institutions in the Southeast US (AL, FL, GA, MS, SC and PR) to participate in the conference.
