Mandatory CAE Update Presented by the NIETP Program Office

The CAE-CD Program Office, in coordination with Moraine Valley Community College and Coastline Community College, will host two identical workshops this summer to garner input from designated institutions before processes and policies are finalized. The CAE-CD Office highly recommends attending one of these workshops to give input on important processes before they are implemented. ***Please note, the date to attend the Moraine Valley Community College Workshop has passed. If you have questions about the Moraine Valley Community College CAE-CD workshop, please contact Stanley Kostka from the North Central CAE Regional Resource Center at (708) 608-4464 or kostkas@morainevalley.edu. All members seeking to participate in the CAE-CD Summer Workshop must attend the workshop hosted by Coastline Community College. 

Coastline Community College CAE-CD Workshop Information 

The Coastline Community College CAE-CD workshop will take place on September 19, 2017, from 9:00AM-4:30 PM PDT to September 20, 2017, from 9:00AM-4:30PM PDT. To register for the Coastline Community College Workshop, please visit https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/eventReg?oeidk=a07eeess1s4d1badd01&oseq=&c=&ch=.

This workshop is taking place at Coastline Community College, 12901 Euclid St, Garden Grove, CA 92840. A shuttle to the workshop at Coastline will be available from the following hotels:

Travel Funding 

Travel funds are available for ONE representative from each CAE designated institution to attend ONE workshop. Faculty from CAE institutions in the Western Region (AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NV, UT, WA, WY) interested in applying for a travel stipend will receive an email after registration. Faculty will be required to follow travel funding requirements and attend both workshop days to be eligible for travel reimbursement. All faculty from CAE institutions are encouraged to attend either workshop; however, travel funding can only be requested by one institutional representative for one workshop so please consider coordinating with colleagues from your institution.
